چکیده
Abstract The aim of this study is to develop coupled matrix formulations characterize the dynamic interaction between vehicle, track, and tunnel. vehicle–track system established in light dynamics theory. physical characteristics mechanical behavior tunnel segments rings are modeled by finite element method, while soil layers vehicle–track–tunnel (VTT) as an assemblage 3-D mapping infinite elements satisfying boundary conditions at area. With novelty, components, such segments, have been systems using a coupling method for elements. responses sub-systems included VTT obtained simultaneously guarantee solution accuracy. To relieve computer storage save CPU time large-scale with high degrees freedoms, cyclic calculation introduced. Apart from model validations, necessity considering substructures demonstrated. In addition, maximum number segment confirmed numerical simulations.

Modelling of interaction between a snow mantle and a flexible structure using a discrete element method
The search of improvement of protective techniques against natural phenomena such as snow avalanches continues to use classic methods for calculating flexible structures. This paper deals with a new method to design avalanche protection nets. This method is based on a coupled analysis of both net structure and snow mantle by using a Discrete Element Method. This has led to the development of co...
متن کاملModelling Telephonic Interaction: A Dynamic Approach
Synopsis: This paper outlines a dynamic formalism for modelling interaction. A dynamic formalism models the behaviour potential at each point throughout an interaction, rather than trying to present the possible types of completed interaction structures, as in a synoptic approach. It is thus more concerned with interaction as process, rather than interaction as product. We model an interaction ...
متن کاملA spectral-element method for modelling cavitation in transient fluid-structure interaction
In an underwater-shock environment, cavitation (boiling) occurs as a result of reflection of the shock wave from the free surface and/or wetted structure causing the pressure in the water to fall below its vapour pressure. If the explosion is sufficiently distant from the structure, the motion of the fluid surrounding the structure may be assumed small, which allows linearization of the governi...
متن کاملstudy of dynamic infinite element used for soil structure interaction
starting from two-dimensional (2d) equations of motion, discretized formulations for transient behavior of soil-structure interaction problems have been derived. two different dynamic infinite elements taking into account single and two-wave types are presented in transformed space. by coupling the infinite elements with standard finite elements, an ordinary finite element procedure is used for...
متن کاملThree-dimensional Finite Element Modelling of Dynamic Pile–soil–pile Interaction in Time Domain
Dynamic analysis of embedded foundations like pile groups have received considerable attention in the past. Most existing approaches are established in the frequency domain, not allowing the simulation of material and geometric nonlinearities. In this paper, transient analyses are conducted to calculate the impedance of piles and pile groups, using a full three-dimensional numerical model for b...
